Oppo F31 Series Set to Launch in India with Massive 7,000mAh Batteries

Oppo is gearing up to expand its F-series lineup in India with the Oppo F31 series, which is expected to include standard, Pro, and Pro+ models. Following the March launch of the F29 series, the new devices aim to offer durability improvements, large batteries, and enhanced network performance while retaining a familiar design.

Expected Launch Timeline

According to industry tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Oppo F31 series is likely to be launched in India between September 12 and 14, 2025. The new lineup will succeed the F29 series, which debuted in India on March 20, 2025, and will continue Oppo’s focus on delivering reliable mid-range smartphones.

Key Specifications

The Oppo F31 is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, while the F31 Pro may come with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. Both models are tipped to pack 7,000mAh batteries with 80W wired fast charging, promising extended battery life and quicker recharge times.

Despite these enhancements, major upgrades in terms of cameras and processors over the F29 series appear limited. The F31 series is likely to offer iterative improvements rather than radical changes.

Durability and Build

A major highlight of the Oppo F31 series is its 360-degree Armour Body, designed to provide enhanced protection against drops and impacts. The phones are expected to retain the aluminium alloy motherboard cover, reinforced with diamond-cut corners and impact-absorbing airbags, similar to the previous series, offering improved durability for daily use.

Network Performance Enhancements

Oppo is also expected to improve network connectivity in the F31 series. Previous models like the F29 utilized a Hunter Antenna layout to boost signal strength by up to 300 percent. The new series may include further refinements, including a four-channel reception system to reduce signal drops by automatically switching to the best available network.

What to Expect

The Oppo F31 series appears focused on battery longevity, durability, and network reliability, while maintaining the core features and design elements of the F29 series. With the launch just weeks away, the series is expected to appeal to users seeking robust, long-lasting smartphones with reliable connectivity.
